Job summary

Ganymede Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a water infrastructure programme in Surrey. The role is a contract position based in Leatherhead, with a daily rate of up to £475 and Outside IR35 status.

You will manage full project delivery across treatment works upgrades, network infrastructure, pumping stations, and civils packages, while maintaining client expectations on a long-term framework.

Qualifications

Project Manager - Water Infrastructure

Leatherhead, Surrey | Contract | Up to £475 per day | Outside IR35 (Subject to Determination) | 12 Months+

This is a significant water infrastructure programme, and the delivery team needs an experienced Project Manager who can hit the ground running, manage complexity without losing momentum, and build strong relationships with a client that expects high standards and consistent performance.

What you will be taking on

Full project delivery responsibility across a range of water infrastructure schemes in the Surrey area.

You will:

• Manage budgets
• Drive programme
• Lead your site team
• Coordinate with the supply chain
• All while ensuring the client receives the standard of delivery they expect on a long-term strategic framework. Schemes range in size and type: treatment works upgrades, network infrastructure, pumping stations, and civils packages, and you will be expected to adapt quickly and lead effectively across all of them.

Commercially, you will take ownership of NEC contract administration, including compensation events, early warnings, and cost reporting. You will work closely with your commercial team and report into a Senior Project Manager or Contracts Manager, but this is not a role for someone who needs close supervision. You will be trusted to manage your projects and expected to surface risks and opportunities early.

The profile we are looking for

An experienced Project Manager with a solid track record in civil engineering or water infrastructure delivery. NEC contract knowledge is essential, this is a framework environment and contract discipline matters. Water sector experience is a strong advantage. You will need SMSTS, CSCS Black or Gold Card, and EUSR Water Hygiene before you start.

The package

Up to £475 per day, outside IR35 subject to determination, on an initial 12 month contract with strong prospects for extension.
