Job summary

The Abbey is seeking a Project Manager with automotive engineering experience to lead projects from feasibility through delivery. You will coordinate across engineering, tooling, manufacturing and quality, ensuring on-time, within-budget outcomes.

You will manage DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, 8D and PPAP requirements and collaborate with suppliers and OEMs to drive project success in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading automotive projects from enquiry to delivery.
• Strong coordination across engineering, manufacturing and quality.
• Ability to manage costs, schedules and risks.

Responsibilities

• Introduction of new products into the business.
• Controlling costs, scheduling, engineering issues and quality across the business
• Co-ordinating projects through process engineering, tooling and manufacturing teams
• Liaising with sales, purchasing, production, engineering and quality throughout the projects
• Managing DFMEA, PFMEA, APQP, 8D and PPAP requirements
• Working closely with Automotive OEMs to achieve project success.

Job DescriptionAre you a Project Manager looking for your next challenge Do you have experience of Project Management in the Automotive sector Are you looking for that next Project Management role Kingscroft have been asked to recruit a Project Manager for a leading automotive supplier. As the ideal candidate you will be an experienced Project Manager from an engineering background within an automotive environment and be confident in taking projects from the initial enquiry through feasibility studies and forward to delivery, coordinating a variety of stakeholders and departments. Working across the business ,with customers and coordinating projects with suppliers this is an exciting and vital role within the business.

Your role will include:
