Job summary

Teconnex UK is seeking a hands-on Project Manager to lead automotive engineering projects from concept to production, balancing delivery with people leadership. You’ll manage a tight team of three Project Engineers and work closely with customers and suppliers to meet quality, timing and cost targets.

This role rewards proactive, collaborative leaders who drive APQP processes, risk management and continuous improvement across project delivery, while maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

• Automotive or manufacturing project management experience.
• Strong APQP and product launch knowledge.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Are you a Project Manager who enjoys being at the heart of engineering projects-not just reporting on them?

We're looking for a hands-on Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of engineering projects while managing a close-knit team of three Project Engineers.

This is a role for someone who thrives on balancing technical project delivery with people leadership. You'll be working closely with customers, suppliers and cross-functional teams to deliver projects from concept through to production, ensuring quality, timing and customer expectations are met.

What you'll be doing:

• Leading engineering projects from concept to launch
• Coaching and developing a team of three Project Engineers
• Building strong customer and stakeholder relationships
• Managing project timing, risk, cost and delivery
• Driving continuous improvement across project delivery

We're looking for someone with:

• Automotive or manufacturing project management experience
• Strong APQP and product launch knowledge
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, collaborative and delivery-focused approach
• Tier 1 or OEM customer experience
• Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement knowledge
