Job summary

Evera Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Programme Manager to own and drive complex vehicle development programmes from concept through to build and release. You will coordinate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance and Supply Chain to keep plans aligned and on track.

The role demands strong BOM management, stakeholder communication, and excellent organisational skills to balance planning with execution in a dynamic environment.

Job description

The Programme Manager will take ownership of programme planning, coordination and delivery across complex vehicle development activities, ensuring projects remain aligned, resourced and on track from concept through to build and release. Working across Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Finance and Supply Chain teams, you will play a central role in driving programme execution and maintaining visibility of progress, risks and dependencies.

The Programme Manager will:

• Own and maintain integrated programme plans, managing milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
• Coordinate activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance and Supply Chain teams.
• Continuously update programme schedules in response to changing priorities, risks and constraints.
• Maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring configuration control and data integrity.
• Manage material shortages and supply issues, driving actions to support programme delivery.
• Produce programme reports and updates for stakeholders at all levels.

The Programme Manager will have:

• Experience supporting or managing complex automotive or product development programmes.
• Experience creating and maintaining programme schedules using tools such as MS Project.
• Strong understanding of BOM management, planning and configuration control.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing programme dependencies.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• An engineering, automotive or STEM-related background, or equivalent practical experience.
