Job description

Lead Forensics is a rapidly growing SaaS company at the forefront of B2B sales and marketing technology.

About the Role

Engineering Delivery Coordinator (PMO) £45,000 per annum. This is a hybrid role with 1 day per week (Wednesday) required on site in our Portsmouth office. Unfortunately we are unable to offer sponsorship for this role. We are seeking an Engineering Delivery Coordinator to help our engineering organization scale by ensuring agile initiatives are visible, effectively tracked, and smoothly progress through delivery. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with Software Development, Product, Architecture, and Engineering Operations to keep Jira dashboards accurate and up to date. You will be responsible for providing clear visibility into initiative status, ownership, deadlines, dependencies, and potential impediments. Your proactive approach will help bridge tracking gaps, highlight exceptions for management, and deliver vital delivery and capacity insights to support planning. Unlike traditional project coordination roles, this is a delivery-assurance position focused on creating transparency, reinforcing best practices, coordinating cross-team activities, and surfacing risks or decisions for timely resolution without diminishing the accountability of managers or initiative owners. This is a hybrid role ideally with one day a week on site at our Portsmouth Office.

Responsibilities
  • Delivery Tracking & Jira Assurance
  • Ensure the accuracy of engineering initiative tracking in Jira, including clear ownership, status, timelines, priorities, dependencies, and linkage.
  • Data Integrity
  • Identify and resolve stale, incomplete, or inconsistent tracking data, collaborating with responsible teams for updates.
  • Monitor for blocked or drifting work, follow up on delayed actions or decisions, and promptly elevate persistent risks and impediments to Engineering Leadership with clear supporting evidence.
  • Capacity & Resource Insight
  • Maintain and communicate an accurate view of team capacity, planned demand, and allocation.
  • Identify over-allocation, under-utilisation, competing priorities, or constraints to support informed resource planning.
  • Reporting & Management Insight
  • Develop initiative-level reporting and dashboards that highlight exceptions, trends, dependencies, and delivery risk, ensuring actionable insights beyond surface-level Jira data.
  • Rollout Coordination
  • Coordinate rollout activities, communications, dependencies, and key milestone dates across Engineering, Product, and Operational teams.
  • Contribute to refining planning and review processes, tracking standards, metrics, and working practices, simplifying the maintenance and usefulness of delivery information.
Qualifications
  • 3 or more years’ experience in Agile Delivery Coordination, PMO Analysis, Technical Project Coordination, or similar roles in software, technology, or SaaS environments.
Required Skills
  • Experience & Background
  • Proven experience utilising Jira to track initiatives, epics, dependencies, milestones, and delivery status.
  • Skilled in producing delivery reporting, managing RAID-style information, and driving actions to completion.
  • Experience supporting capacity, resource, or demand planning for multiple teams or concurrent initiatives.
  • Delivery & Analytical Strength
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and their practical applications.
  • Strong analytical abilities with confidence using dashboards, spreadsheets, and metrics such as throughput, lead time, ageing, and predictability.
  • Able to differentiate between incomplete data and true delivery issues, providing clear, actionable insights.
  • Confident coordinating plans across distributed teams and maintaining momentum without direct authority.
  • Mindset & Style
  • Highly organised, persistent, and detail-oriented, with the courage to challenge incomplete updates and unclear commitments.
  • Clear communicator skilled in building collaborative relationships with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
  • Commercially aware, pragmatic, and outcome-focused, avoiding unnecessary process for process’s sake.
  • Comfortable escalating issues when appropriate after initial follow-up has not achieved resolution.
Preferred Skills
  • Desired Attributes
  • Demonstrated success in improving delivery information accuracy and usefulness across multiple engineering teams.
  • Strong Jira and Excel skills; experience with Confluence, Advanced Roadmaps, reporting or portfolio-planning tools is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating multi-stakeholder rollouts spanning product, platform, technology, or business change.
  • Sound judgment in supporting management with capacity insights while respecting decision-making boundaries.
Pay range and compensation package
  • £45,000 per annum.
  • Competitive salary and benefits.
Why Join Lead Forensics?
  • Influential role with opportunity to shape the planning, tracking, and delivery of engineering initiatives.
