We are seeking an experienced Project Leader to provide project management and leadership within the Typhoon Support Business Area, specifically for the Case by Case Repairs (CbC) Integrated Project Team (IPT). This team handles air-related systems, products, and services under various support contracts, serving customers across the UK, Europe, and Asia. The role is highly visible and critical for our business success, with significant growth potential and high-value contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a diverse, cross-functional IPT, exemplifying leadership qualities
• Support the Project Manager in achieving business targets while maintaining cost, schedule, and quality standards
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle
• Lead customer presentations, engagement, and negotiations
• Ensure accurate and consistent reporting across organizational levels
• Promote a culture of excellence, knowledge sharing, and best practices
• Manage risks and opportunities effectively, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented
• Establish and oversee the IPT's Lifecycle Management framework including Project Plans, WBS, OBS, and Control Accounts
• Coordinate IPT activities through effective communication mechanisms
• Provide leadership, feedback, and career development for Project Management staff

Skills, Qualifications & Knowledge

• Experience in a similar Project Leader role with complex teams
• APM PFQ and/or PMQ qualification or equivalent (highly desirable)
• Proven track record of growing a business area strategically
• Knowledge of EVM, Network Planning, and Lifecycle Management techniques
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement
• Financial acumen and computer literacy, including MS Office and SAP
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
• Flexible, adaptable, and resilient to change
• Excellent problem-solving skills and lateral thinking
