Job summary

Blayze Group seeks an experienced Project Lead for a major new-build residential development in South West London. You will take the No. 1 on-site role, overseeing day-to-day delivery and reporting to the Project Director.

The scheme comprises ~340 units across two towers, including a 37-storey high-rise and an eight-storey affordable block, with a three-year programme and proximity to railway infrastructure.

Location: South West London

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Lead to take full responsibility for the delivery of a major new-build residential development in South West London.

The scheme comprises approximately 340 residential units across two towers, including a 37-storey high-rise building and a smaller eight-storey affordable housing block. The development will incorporate a reinforced concrete frame and unitised façade, with a three-year construction programme.

The project presents a number of logistical challenges, with the site positioned adjacent to a railway line and surrounded by existing high-rise buildings. Groundworks approvals are in place, with piling scheduled to commence in January.

As Project Lead, you will take the No. 1 position on site, overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the development and reporting directly to the Project Director.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Taking overall responsibility for the successful delivery of the project from commencement through to completion.
• Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and consultants.
• Managing programme, quality, health and safety, logistics and commercial performance.
• Managing complex site logistics and interfaces with the surrounding environment and adjacent railway infrastructure.
• Driving progress against key milestones while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Working closely with the Project Director to ensure the development is delivered on time and to specification.

The ideal candidate will have a strong construction engineering background and a proven track record of leading major residential or high-rise developments. Experience delivering reinforced concrete frame projects is essential, while previous exposure to unitised façades and working alongside Network Rail infrastructure would be highly advantageous.
