Job summary

Blayze Group is seeking an experienced Project Lead to step up into a Project Director position for a major new-build mixed-use development in South East London. Demolition is underway with enabling works due next year; you’ll oversee the project team, programme, risk, quality, safety and multi-disciplinary coordination.

Ideal candidates will have strong concrete-frame and multi-storey scheme experience, proven leadership and stakeholder management, and the ambition to progress to PD level with

An opportunity has recently arisen for an experienced Project lead to step up into a PD role, taking overall responsibility for a major new-build mixed use development in South East London.

The development comprises of multiple student accommodation units across two RC frame blocks with an element of H/A residential units. Demolition is underway, with enabling works scheduled to commence in the summer of next year.

Our client, who have significant financial backing and a first class pipeline of future developments are open to appointing candidates at PM/SPM level who are looking to move into a Project Director position, offering the opportunity to lead the development.

The Role

You will take overall responsibility for the project team, construction programme, delivery strategy, quality, health and safety, and coordination of all key disciplines.

Working closely with the Commercial, Technical, Design and Development teams, you will drive project performance, manage risk and ensure successful delivery against programme, budget and quality objectives.

The candidate

• Strong knowledge of concrete-frame construction and multi-storey schemes.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating multiple disciplines.
• Strong programme, logistics, sequencing and buildability knowledge.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ambition and capability to step up into a Project Director position.
