Rolls-Royce is seeking a Programme Lead for the EJ200 Mature Engines portfolio based at Filton. You will lead delivery across programmes, guiding tasks from the Programme Manager to ensure successful contract outcomes and customer satisfaction.

The role reports to the Vice President Combat and involves coordinating across functions, managing risks, budgets and schedules, and delivering key milestones in a complex defence environment.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Programme Lead (PL) within the EJ200 Programme, within the Mature Engines Portfolio. The successful candidate will have a wide opportunity to lead deliverables across both programmes, which are a key part of the Defence Engine portfolio. The PL role will report to the Vice President Combat and take tasking from the respective Programme Manager to lead a diverse range of activities, from the Customers Main Operating Base (MOB) through to ensuring tasks are being delivered within the supporting functions, thus resulting in the successful delivery of our critical support contracts.

What you will be doing

• Lead the delivery of all elements of contracted business and key milestones / KPI’s and PI’s are achieved to plan.
• Assist the Programme Manager in the development of project management documents such as project budgets, schedules, project plans and manage risks in line with the requirements of ADO4 risk tool.
• Lead activities to ensure adherence to the PILM & LTCR processes is achieved.
• Provision of basic guidance to others regarding the Project Management processes and the operation of the project management systems / tools / methods.
