Job summary

FS Recruitment Services is seeking a Project Engineer for nationwide project-based installation work across fire, intruder, and CCTV systems. You will manage projects on-site, performing 1st and 2nd fixes and commissioning to deliver fully functional systems across the UK.

This role requires hands-on experience with fire alarm installations and the ability to commission systems, with Gent training provided for the right candidate. Willingness to travel and work away is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fire alarm installation (essential).
• Ability to commission fire alarm systems (essential).
• Experience carrying out 1st and 2nd fix across fire, intruder & CCTV.
• Gent system experience?
• Full Gent training is provided for the right person.
• Comfortable working away on project sites.
• Someone who takes ownership, works to a high standard, and doesn’t need hand-holding on site.

We're recruiting on behalf of a leading fire & security contractor who are growing their installation division and need an experienced, hands‑on Project Engineer to join the team.

This isn't a service-and-maintain role — this is proper, project-based installation work with variety, challenge, and the satisfaction of seeing a full system come to life from first fix through to commissioning.

Systems you’ll be working with: Gent Fire Alarm Systems, Intruder Alarm Systems, CCTV Systems

What they’re looking for:

• Proven experience in fire alarm installation (essential)
