Job summary

Get Staff is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to join a friendly, installation-focused team covering Surrey and occasional travel to London. You’ll install, commission and maintain intruder alarms, CCTV and access control on high-quality residential properties and select commercial projects.

The role offers a competitive salary (£30,000-£45,000 DOE), company van, mobile phone and laptop, full PPE, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Around 3 years’ experience within the Fire & Security industry.
• Strong installation experience.
• Experience with Intruder Alarms, CCTV and Access Control systems.
• Fire Alarm knowledge would be an advantage but isn’t essential.
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV systems, access control and fire alarm systems.
• Manage own workload and deliver a first-class service to customers.
• Ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently and to high standards.

Fire & Security Engineer

Location: Surrey

Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 DOE

Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent, Monday‑Friday – No On‑Call

The Role

As a Fire & Security Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, commissioning and maintenance of a range of electronic security systems, including:

• Intruder Alarms
• CCTV Systems
• Access Control
• Fire Alarm Systems (experience preferred but training available)

You’ll manage your own workload, deliver a first‑class service to customers and ensure installations are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.

What We’re Looking For
