Events Project Finance Manager

Location: Surrey / Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced events finance manager with a background in event project accounting and reconciliation.

The Agency

This full-service events and communications agency collaborates with well-known global brands, primarily in the pharma, automotive, technology, and oil & gas sectors, delivering a variety of events and experiences. These range from large-scale exhibitions for thousands of attendees to incentive programs and product launches, involving logistically complex elements and international destinations.

The Role

This busy Project Finance Manager role involves supporting the Head of Finance with all event project budgets and client account reconciliation. Responsibilities include client invoicing, reporting for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring projects stay within scope, adhering to SLAs, and resource tracking per project.

About You

Ideal candidates will have a background in managing event budgets, scoping costs, resourcing, and financial reconciliation. Experience with internal project systems, expense, and chargeback management is essential. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with event accounting software are required. Experience in pharma or life sciences events in a similar finance role is preferred.
