Your New Salary: £85,000 - £135,000 depending on seniority (considering middle to senior-level candidates)

Job Status: Permanent

Location: London - Hybrid working, with 1 day WFH

Summary:

• The primary responsibility is to establish a Project Finance Team within the branch, then lead its strategic direction, management, and relationship development.
• The role aims to grow a project finance portfolio by sourcing transactions from primary and secondary markets.

What You'll Be Doing:

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and implement the branch's project finance strategy aligned with branch goals.
• Provide guidance on project feasibility, funding structures, and investment opportunities.

Financing and Investment Oversight

• Lead structuring, negotiation, and execution of complex project financing deals.
• Oversee the preparation of financial models and forecasts to support financing decisions.

Team Development

• Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and funding partners.
• Lead the Project Finance team.
• Foster knowledge sharing within the wider Corporate Banking Department.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Risk Management and Compliance

• Develop branch Project Finance policies and procedures.
• Monitor market and regulatory changes impacting strategies.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Represent the branch in Project Finance matters.
• Deliver high-level presentations internally and externally.
