Resource Management:

• Provide accurate estimates and forecasts for engineering resources to meet project needs.
• Monitor team budgets and resourcing requirements to achieve financial and program targets.

Industry Standards and Safety:

• Apply European and American Engineering Standards where applicable and stay updated with industry best practices.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the safety case process in highly regulated environments and implement safety considerations into engineering practices.
• Utilise a solid understanding of Systems Engineering processes to support all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Make informed decisions even in the face of limited or contradictory information.
• Stay current with advancements in engineering and project management practices, introducing improvements to enhance team efficiency and output quality.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

• Demonstrable experience in engineering management on high profile projects including the management of multidisciplinary Teams.
• Experience in effectively managing the design elements of projects on time and on budget with quality, meeting client expectations.
• Be able to establish and implement an effective engineering management processthroughout the lifecycle of projects with the ability to clearly brief and lead the engineering teams.
• Ensure that engineering deliverables (e.g., drawings, specifications, analysis) comply with applicable regulations, standards, corporate procedures and sound engineering practices.
• A results-driven motivated individual with a client focused approach to design andproject delivery.Able to prepare and deliver technical detail internally and to clients.
• Be able to provide estimates and forecasts for engineering resources.
• Technical quality of deliverables – undertaking checks of design deliverables workingwith the discipline leads (where required) in accordance with company /project/client procedures and specification/s.
• Understanding of design principles and ability to apply them.
• Have a working knowledge of Engineering European and American Standards.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Essential Qualifications / requirements

• Engineering Degree, or equivalent, at Masters or PhD level.
• Chartered in your profession.

You will also be self-motivated with an ability to work both autonomously where required, with a strong sense of commitment, a willingness to learn and a desire to work in a dynamic deadline driven team environment.
