The Role

We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee assigned projects, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget adherence, and compliance. You will manage long-term OFTO and Asset Management Energy projects, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic industry. This role is remote with travel within the UK.

Role Accountabilities

• Ensure project activities align with company policies and procedures.
• Review and oversee project budgets and schedules.
• Monitor project costs and work progress weekly.
• Manage invoicing and cash collection processes.
• Review and update the project risk register, alerting management to concerns.
• Identify and pursue variation opportunities, mitigating risks.
• Coordinate with contracts management for variation submissions.
• Build and lead the project team effectively throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct weekly reviews of project deliverables and progress.
• Maintain and update procurement plans.
• Support procurement and supplier selection processes.
• Ensure all staff and contractors are properly inducted before project start.
• Track and report on quality issues and lessons learned.
• Foster positive relationships within the team and with clients.
• Aim for timely project closure and final reconciliation.
• Gather customer feedback and document lessons learned.

Knowledge, Qualifications, and Experience

• Project Management Professional qualification (advantageous).
• Experience in contract administration and budget management.
• Background in renewable energy projects, especially offshore wind and UK OFTO regime.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Attention to detail and multitasking ability.
• Stakeholder management experience.
• Experience in asset management, long-term planning, and operational readiness.
