Job summary

Edwards is seeking a Quality Engineer to continually improve management systems at our Bristol site, aligning with Atlas Copco global requirements and customer needs. You will report to the Quality Manager and work with local and global teams.

The role focuses on implementing and improving the Quality Document Management System, QA protocols, audits, risk analysis, and staff mentoring in a hybrid working environment.

Your role

As a Quality Engineer, your mission is to continually improve management systems at PC Clevedon by identifying issues and working proactively within local and global teams to improve processes. To ensure that processes align with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards and customer requirements. You will report to the Quality Manager.

You will

• To drive the effective implementation and improvement of the Quality Document Management System at product company Clevedon in line with Atlas Copco global requirements, international standards, and customer requirements
• Develop and maintain quality assurance protocols.
• Conduct audits and inspections to ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
• Lead cross-functional quality and continuity projects.
• Maintain the internal quality audit program.
• Conduct business management system audits.

Job location

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Bristol, United Kingdom (GB).
