Acteon seeks a Project Engineer to deliver structural monitoring projects from concept through to installation and commissioning at our Wokingham facility. You will be the technical link between the client, engineering, and delivery teams, owning the scope and coordinating across functions to ensure systems are built, tested and installed to standard.

This hands-on role requires strong organisation, multi-project management, and clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering or similar.
• Experience in a project or engineering delivery environment.
• Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Experience with system testing and integration activities.
• Familiar with project tracking tools and structured delivery processes.
• Hands-on and practical, comfortable working with equipment and systems.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities at once.
• Strong problem solver who stays calm under pressure.
• Clear communicator with both clients and internal teams.
• Takes ownership and drives work through to completion.
• Works well across disciplines and levels within the business.

Responsabilités

• Support delivery of multiple projects at the same time, across design, build, test, and installation phases.
• Work with Project Managers to meet schedule, budget, and technical requirements.
• Track engineering deliverables, risks, and changes through the project lifecycle.
• Take full ownership of smaller projects where required.
• Act as the main technical interface between client, engineering teams, procurement, and production.
• Translate client requirements into clear engineering scope and deliverables.
