Job summary
Get Staff is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to own integrated security projects from handover to delivery, and remain hands-on with installation, configuration and commissioning. The role covers the North West and Yorkshire.
You will work with CCTV, Access Control and Intruder systems, travelling across UK locations and collaborating with project managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure successful outcomes.
Qualifications
- Experience as Commissioning Engineer or Project Engineer in electronic security.
- Strong hands-on experience with integrated security systems.
- Ability to take technical ownership from installation through to completion.
- Experience with system configuration, testing and commissioning.
- Willingness to travel across Yorkshire, the North of the UK and other UK locations.
Responsibilities
- Taking technical ownership of projects from handover through to completion.
- Supporting pre-start planning, installation, configuration, testing and commissioning.
- Working with Project Managers, engineers and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Carrying out system configuration, testing and commissioning.
- Ensuring projects are fully completed and handed over to clients and the Service team.
- Travelling across Yorkshire, the North of the UK and other UK locations as required.
