Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is looking for a qualified individual to assist in managing on-site construction processes in Motherwell, Scotland. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, coordinating work schedules, and liaising with local authorities.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety standards
• Assist with co‑ordinate and control the on‑site construction process ensuring the site build progresses in line with plan
• Liaise with Statutory Authorities and Local Authorities as directed by the Site Manager in the submission of all Building Regulation cards as required to allow the progress of the project
• Attend site meetings, effectively communicate and provide information for Progress Reports
• Chair and minute the subcontractor meetings in the absence of the Site or Project Manager
• Assist the Site Manager in the management of materials
• Record keeping (diary, drawing register, H&S, COSHH Assessments, As‑built drawings, Levels & Foundations records, site H&S file)
• Assist in ensuring that work is carried out in full conformance with quality, environmental and safety requirements
