Job summary

Futures in Cornwall is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our established manufacturing team. This hands-on role leads technical and manufacturing projects from concept through implementation.

You will specify, develop, install and validate new equipment and processes, drive process improvement, cost reduction and productivity initiatives, and manage project plans, budgets and risks. Collaborating with engineering, production, quality teams, suppliers and external contractors, you

Qualifications

Hands-on project engineering experience in manufacturing.
Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.
Engineering degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with production equipment and change implementation.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and manufacturing projects from concept through completion.
Specify, develop, install and validate new equipment and processes.
Deliver process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
Develop project plans, budgets, risk assessments and technical documentation.
Manage project risks and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, suppliers and external contractors.
Use data and structured problem-solving to improve manufacturing performance.
