Job summary

Danny Sullivan Group in London is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join our prestigious fit-out projects. You will coordinate mechanical and electrical services from design through to completion, working closely with the project management team to meet programme deadlines.

The role demands strong coordination with subcontractors, suppliers and site teams, plus a solid understanding of MEP installations, quality control and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background required.
• Experience as a Project Engineer within building services.
• Experience on commercial fit-out projects desirable.
• Strong coordination and subcontractor management skills.
• Understanding of MEP installations, quality control and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating MEP installations from design through to completion.
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinating services with ceilings, partitions, lighting and architectural finishes.
• Monitoring quality, progress and programme deadlines.
• Supporting testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Resolving technical issues and ensuring installations meet project requirements.

PROJECT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL OR ELECTRICAL

£70,000-£90,000 + Package | London

I'm currently looking to speak with experienced Mechanical or Electrical Project Engineers for an exciting opportunity with a leading building services contractor delivering high-end commercial fit-out projects across London.

This is a great opportunity to join an established business working on prestigious office fit-outs and high-specification commercial interiors, where quality, technical expertise and programme delivery are key.

The Role

You'll be working closely with the project management team to coordinate and deliver mechanical or electrical building services across CAT A and CAT B fit-out projects.

Responsibilities will include:

• Coordinating MEP installations from design through to completion.
• Managing subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical submissions.
• Coordinating services with ceilings, partitions, lighting and architectural finishes.
• Monitoring quality, progress and programme deadlines.
• Supporting testing, commissioning, snagging and final handover.
• Resolving technical issues and ensuring installations meet project requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Experience as a Project Engineer within building services.
• Previous experience on commercial fit-out projects is highly desirable.
• Strong technical coordination and subcontractor management skills.
• Good understanding of MEP installations, quality control and commissioning.
