Contract Manager - MEP / Building Services

£100,000-£130,000 + Package | London

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Contract Manager to join a leading building services subcontractor delivering prestigious, high-value MEP projects across London.

The business has a strong reputation for engineering excellence, providing fully coordinated mechanical and electrical solutions across premium commercial fit-outs, major office developments and complex building services projects.

This is a senior leadership position suited to an established Contract Manager with a strong M&E subcontracting background, capable of overseeing multiple projects, managing client relationships and driving commercial performance.

The Role

• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple MEP fit-out projects across London.
• Manage project teams, Project Managers and site management personnel.
• Take responsibility for programme, quality, health and safety and commercial performance.
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor appointments, variations and cost control.
• Ensure mechanical and electrical installations are fully coordinated and delivered to specification.
• Monitor project progress, resolve technical and operational issues, and maintain contractual requirements.
• Drive commissioning, quality assurance and successful project handovers.
• Identify commercial opportunities, mitigate project risks and support business growth.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience as a Contract Manager or Senior Project Manager within an M&E/MEP environment.
• Strong background in commercial fit-out projects, ideally CAT A and CAT B.
• Experience managing multiple projects and leading project delivery teams.
• Strong commercial awareness, including variations, cost reporting and contractual management.
• A track record of delivering complex building services projects safely, on programme and within budget.
