Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a project engineer/manager to oversee customer projects from handover to completion in our Aberdeen area. You will coordinate manufacturing, procurement and logistics to meet milestones, while maintaining schedules and budgets and reporting progress.

Responsibilities include risk communication with customers and internal teams, supporting product testing, and preparing both commercial and technical documentation to drive process improvements within the department.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
• Desirable: Degree in an Engineering discipline, additional project management or engineering qualifications.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project engineering or project management environment.
• Experience within manufacturing or engineering projects.
• Strong commercial awareness and project coordination skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
