Freudenberg Sealing Technologies S.a.s. di Externa Italia S.r.l.u. is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead and coordinate electrical maintenance across production, supervise a team, and ensure safety and reliability of plant equipment.

The role requires an recognised electrical apprenticeship, 18th Edition, and at least three years of supervisory experience, with a focus on continuous improvement and Lean practices.

• Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship.
• 18th Edition qualification.
• Time-served Electrical Engineer.
• Minimum three years' supervisory experience.
• Proven experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong health and safety background.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-management skills.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Knowledge of PLCs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and coordinate electrical maintenance activities to support safe and efficient production operations.
• Allocate maintenance resources, prioritise workload, and oversee maintenance planning activities.
• Supervise, coach, and support maintenance personnel to achieve departmental performance and quality objectives.
• Coordinate permits to work and ensure maintenance activities are completed in compliance with applicable regulations and safety requirements.
• Manage planned maintenance activities for critical plant and equipment to minimise downtime.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support Lean manufacturing practices across the business.
• Support the Plant Maintenance Manager and provide operational updates and plant serviceability reporting when required.

Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Desirable Qualifications and Experience

• HND in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Experience in an electrical maintenance supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Experience training or mentoring electrical engineering apprentices.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or Supervisory Management qualification.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
