Job Description:

Project Development & DNO Manager

Leap29 is currently seeking a Project Development Manager for our Development team. Reporting directly to the Head of Development, this pivotal role involves spearheading the successful delivery of large-scale solar PV, energy, Wind, Agrivoltaics, energy storage and thermal projects.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for orchestrating a team of Project Managers and Junior Project Managers to achieve the company's development objectives. Drawing on both internal and external resources, you will meticulously plan and execute various project functions and deliverables from inception to handover, ensuring adherence to predetermined budgets and timelines.

This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of commercial, legal, technical, and construction aspects crucial for the prosperous execution of high-value energy-based projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritizing health and safety in all decision-making processes.
  • Planning and implementing project functions and deliverables across the project life cycle.
  • Adhering to budgets and timelines while maintaining rigorous tracking and reporting using established project management methodologies.
  • Overseeing project ownership from initiation to handover.
  • Managing project finances and preparing necessary Change Control documentation.
  • Conducting site visits and meetings with stakeholders, updating relevant reports accordingly.
  • Mentoring and managing Project Managers to ensure project alignment with budgets, timelines, and reporting standards.
  • Facilitating negotiations for project agreements and leases in a timely manner.
