Purpose:

The Project Manager will drive end-to-end delivery of projects to customers, maintaining communication with all stakeholders to ensure lean and successful project delivery across the full client engagement lifecycle within scope, timeline, and budget.




Key responsibilities:

  • Successful project delivery: Plan and direct the overall project of work through driving a clear vision and goals.
  • Be the go-to lead for the project team, customer, and management, owning the requirements and management process throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation through to live operation.
  • Ensure successful commercial delivery of projects, within budget and agreed timescales.
  • Manage issues and risks effectively, validating options and solutions, and clearly articulating impacts of decisions.
  • Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality standards.
  • Conform to and promote Redcentric project management standards, contributing to their development.
  • Lead and deliver projects using various methodologies, including Agile/SCRUM, Waterfall, and Hybrid.
  • Contribute to and deliver relevant reporting across the Delivery and Cloud Services Group to internal and external parties.
  • Maintain accurate and effective documentation during delivery and into service.

Stakeholder management:

  • Ensure customer satisfaction and promote successful long-term relationships through onboarding and retention.
  • Create and maintain customer engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Shape projects to achieve the best outcomes for stakeholders.
  • Understand the strategic importance of customers to Redcentric and contribute to account success.
  • Experience managing third parties within the engagement lifecycle.

Commercial activities:

  • Manage capacity and forecasting for the project management team, ensuring capability matches project pipeline.
  • Participate in pre-sales activities for relevant projects and opportunities.
  • Identify and follow up on new business opportunities with customers.

People management:

  • Align projects with broader account strategies, acting as the principal relationship owner with the customer for new clients.
  • Mentor colleagues in project management best practices.
  • Experience building, managing, and developing project teams.

  • Experience on large-scale projects and leading project teams to success.
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding of business value.
  • Project Management qualification or equivalent experience.
