Southern Water is seeking a Project Design Lead to join our team. You will guide technical assurance and delivery across a broad portfolio of water infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects in a hybrid setup between Falmer and home.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering design and design management within complex projects.
• Ability to provide technical input, challenge designs and ensure compliance with standards.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams and managing design scope and cost.

Responsabilités

• Provide authoritative technical input across needs identification, optioneering, design, construction and commissioning.
• Assure quality of design deliverables across multiple projects and ensure fitness for purpose.
• Lead in-house outline design and optioneering to support low whole-life cost solutions.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design teams including suppliers and partners.
• Ensure compliance with Southern Water standards, health and safety and environmental regs.
