Job description

About The Role:

A prominent UK architecture practice is actively seeking a Project Coordinator to support across a diverse range of projects in the UK and Overseas.

The role will work closely with senior team members to effectively contribute towards a number of large-scale projects by assisting with document management, administration, and finance. This broad and fulfilling position will involve hands-on project coordination, implementing processes, working out upcoming project requirements, prioritising workloads, and assisting with project performance by monitoring time, cost, and quality. Additionally, you will work closely with the accounts team, preparing invoices, gathering timesheets, etc. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with project controls software and a strong background in using Microsoft Excel to track project data.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement processes and controls at various stages of a project timeline
  2. Collaborate with the wider project control team to understand requirements
  3. Coordinate annual leave and work prioritisation within the team
  4. Support project planning, scheduling, budgeting, performance tracking, and status updates
  5. Lead project change management processes and integrate them into the plan
  6. Set up applications for payment reports and invoices
  7. Manage data entry into the document management system
  8. Work closely with subconsultants to assist with administration
  9. Assist with internal and external project audits
  10. Support the accounts team with project finance activities

Key Skills/Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a flexible and proactive attitude
  • Good numeracy skills and strong IT proficiency
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience using project controls software
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience working in the architecture, design, or built environment sectors
