Overview

Our PMO Midlands team is looking to expand its Controls community. We are a close‑knit team and we’re looking to welcome passionate and ambitious candidates across all our professional, senior professional and managerial grades. Responsibilities
  • Tailor reporting processes to meet the client’s needs and align with best practice.
  • Deliver performance and reporting management plans for our clients based on project requirements, maturity, and best practice.
  • Promote the benefits and requirements of Performance Reporting & Analytics within the project and programme team.
  • Implement, administer, and maintain reporting systems and procedures to track project controls performance.
  • Work with the Integrated Project Team to establish a robust, integrated, well‑structured, accurate Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB) and support the change control process.
  • Roll out reporting calendars to ensure a consistent drumbeat of performance data and sufficient time to assure and analyse outputs.
  • Work with project controls to define requirements and data flows for information management systems and support our digital teams in their implementation.
  • Lead the development, analysis, and maintenance of corporate datasets.
  • Provide guidance and advice on data quality issues to a wide variety of data providers.
  • Lead the preparation of governance projects, programmes, portfolios and the enterprise.
  • Identify performance recovery recommendations for relevant stakeholders and management to support effective decision making.
  • Support the project team to develop, embed KPIs and contribute to the development of the performance measures dictionary.
  • Develop project performance reports and dashboards, providing recommendations to relevant stakeholders and management to support effective decision making.
  • Lead preparation of presentations and other materials for client governance forums and performance reviews.
  • Contribute toward our national and regional performance & reporting communities including Communities of Practice.
  • Train and coach clients and less experienced team members on performance and reporting management processes and practices.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a project or programme environment is essential.
  • An understanding of how other aspects of Project Controls (Scheduling, Cost Control, Change Control) interact with Reporting.
  • Demonstrable track record in identifying reporting and data requirements and documenting these using appropriate tools and documentation.
  • Awareness of Project Controls software (Primavera P6, Active Risk Manager, Ecosys, etc.) is desirable.
  • Experience using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI).
