Job summary

Linxon in Glasgow is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead cost, cash and revenue forecasting for major projects. You will implement project‑specific strategies for cost control, monitor variances, and ensure alignment with schedules.

The role requires strong experience in earned value, risk management, planning, and reporting. You will supervise controllers, support tendering, and collaborate with engineering and site teams to deliver on budget and timeline.

Qualifications

  • Degree in finance or engineering with project control experience.
  • Extensive experience as project controller in EPC environments.
  • Expertise in cost control, estimating, and change control.
  • Proficiency in planning and forecasting.
  • Strong risk management and earned value management knowledge.
  • Fluent English; local language as required by site.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project cost structures and map to schedules.
  • Monitor activities, challenge strategies, and report findings.
  • Assess budgets, forecast variances, and craft recovery plans.
  • Implement early warning indicators and EV management.
  • Prepare monthly budget updates with PM and reporting teams.
  • Support tendering and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Oversee local and offshore project controllers.
  • Maintain cashflow and ensure on‑time invoicing.
