Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Associate Director - Project Controls in Greater London to lead project controls across Transportation, Infrastructure and Energy sectors. You will establish PMB targets, monitor KPIs, and drive governance for successful delivery in a complex, matrix environment.

You will manage schedule, cost, risk, and change activities, chair change forums, and report to senior leaders. The role requires leadership of a Project Controls team and deep NEC-style contract knowledge.

Qualifications

• Project controls or project management qualification from APM or similar accrediting bodies
• Ability to manage stakeholders and information flow in a matrix environment
• Experience leading project controls within large, complex infrastructure or construction projects
• Knowledge of transport, energy, major infrastructure, or construction projects (NEC Forms of Contract)
• Experience in functional leadership of a project controls team
• Strong aptitude to supervise schedule, cost, risk, reporting and change management activities
• Working knowledge of schedule management, cost management and risk management practices

Responsibilities

• Establish, monitor, and manage the PMB and collate KPIs & progress data to report to senior leaders
• Develop and implement performance measurement systems such as earned value management
• Chair and facilitate change control forums and ensure change papers are enacted
• Coordinate contributors to conduct change impact assessments for programme decisions
• Lead periodic and ad-hoc reporting; ensure monthly project review packs are accurate and timely
• Integrate schedule, cost, scope, quality, change and risk data into a full picture of project health
• Support leadership by providing specialist advice to resolve delays and challenges
• Mentor and develop Project Controls team to improve maturity and operating policies
