Project Controller – Kentish Town

As the Project Controller, you will assist in implementing, adopting, and using project controls tools and information within your allocated projects. You will provide insights on project performance to support management and ensure project targets are achieved.
What you will be doing:
- Implement business project controls & reporting procedures across projects.
- Develop local project controls & reporting procedures tailored to project requirements.
- Ensure processes operate effectively for comprehensive analysis of project and portfolio performance.
- Drive the adoption of project controls & reporting within your portfolio.
- Manage collection, extraction, and validation of source data for analysis.
- Analyze information and metrics to identify performance issues and potential concerns.
- Provide early warnings of risks and issues to enable proactive management.
- Offer objective, transparent, and timely insights on performance at portfolio and project levels.
- Present performance information compellingly and intuitively for stakeholders.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy for analysis.
- Act as a subject matter expert on performance, project controls, and reporting.
- Lead the collation of information for project and business reporting cycles.
Who we are looking for:
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in BI tools like Power BI, Qlik, or Tableau.
- Experience developing dashboards and performance metrics.
- Ability to consolidate performance data from granular (project) to portfolio level.
- Strong data analysis skills.
- Effective communication of data insights.
- Understanding of project accounting and construction contracts.
- Experience in Planning, Project Controls, Commercial, Finance, or Operations.
- Knowledge of JSON/HTML/SQL is beneficial but not essential.
