Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the financial situation of projects and ensure deliverables are met.
• Produce monthly financial reporting on project KPIs comparing Actuals against Budget.
• Hold regular cost reviews with Work Package Managers.

Project Controller

9 month contract

As the Project Controller, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

• Manage the financial situation of projects
• Ensure all deliverables are met with regard to monthly reporting to Primes
• Be the review point of all financially relevant contractual matters i.e. Supply Contracts, Works Orders, or Change Notices
• Work collaboratively with the Project Manager to prepare the financial elements of contract changes
• Manage the allocation of costs to work packages and provide variance analysis with inputs from Work Package Managers and Project Managers
• Produce monthly financial reporting on project Key Performance Indicators comparing Actuals against Budget and Forecast
• Hold regular cost reviews with Work Package Managers to capture Cost To Complete
• Analysis of project actual costs and correction of mis-bookings
• Forecasting of project resourcing/manpower requirements by work package
• Tracking of major project non-quality events for communication to Senior Management
• Intermediate/Advanced MS Excel literacy
• Knowledge of SAP
• Ability to make finance important to non-finance People
• Experience in a management accounting role within a project-based environment
• Experience in a large, multi-national environment
• Experience working in multiple currencies
