Job summary

Tended is seeking an energetic Scheduling & Logistics professional to join our rail operations team. You will build 6–12 week forward plans, translate deployment targets into practical shift schedules for field-based Implementation Leads, and liaise with clients to secure bookings.

In a high-growth, award-winning scale-up, you will own staff utilization, adapt plans to changing projects, and drive data-driven improvement across delivery systems while collaborating with engineering and delivery

• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain 6-to-12-week forward plans and shift schedules for field teams.
• Liaise with clients via phone, email, and in-person to secure shift bookings and unblock delivery blockers.
• Balance resources to maintain 80%+ utilization and adapt to project changes.
• Maintain data integrity across internal delivery systems.
• Track team performance and provide weekly utilization reports to Project Managers.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Master the Schedule: Build and maintain 6-to-12-week forward plans, translating project deployment targets into seamless shift schedules for field-based Implementation Leads.
• Drive Stakeholder Engagement: Persistently liaise with client stakeholders via phone, email, and in-person to secure shift bookings, remove delivery blockers, and keep operations running smoothly.
• Optimize Resources: Adapt dynamically to project changes, reallocating field talent, managing shift cancellations, and balancing work schedules to target an 80%+ utilization rate.
• Maintain Operational Excellence: Keep equipment distribution schedules accurate, oversee training sign-offs, and maintain data integrity across all internal delivery systems.
• Analyze & Report: Track team performance, log shift variations, and provide insightful weekly utilization reports to Project Managers
