Position: Project Control Specialist - Permanent – Tax Free
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct project health check assessments for joint venture projects and present outcomes to the project sponsor.
- Review and monitor project performance; present results to the project team and sponsor.
- Prepare reports analyzing project progress during development or execution stages.
- Perform project risk analyses.
- Manage the database for lessons learned across projects.
- Support project teams with best practices in project oversight and control.
- Provide consulting in project management areas such as economics, governance, organization setup, cost estimating, scheduling, procurement, and risk management.
- Assist in developing business plans, project feasibility studies, and technical development.
- Analyze claims and advise on negotiation strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in project management, including 10 years in project control (planning, scheduling, and cost control).
- PMP and PMI-SP certifications from PMI or equivalent.
- Certification from AACEI or similar organization.
- Experience with mega projects in refineries, petrochemicals, or infrastructure industries.
- Experience in scope development, scheduling, and cost estimation.
- Ability to develop benchmarking databases from a cost and industry perspective.
