Boccard UK Ltd in Bristol is seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our growing team on flagship nuclear projects. You will support the Programme Manager across a diverse portfolio, coordinating planning, performance monitoring and delivery excellence to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

The role requires a degree in engineering or a technical discipline, plus strong analytical and numerical abilities and advanced Excel skills (Power Query/Power BI advantageous).

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in engineering or a technical discipline.
• 4+ years of project controls experience.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power Query/Power BI advantageous.
• Experience with planning, cost control and reporting processes.
• Experience in engineering or technically regulated environments (nuclear preferred).

Project Control Engineer, Bristol based

At Boccard, we are proud to play a key role in supporting the next generation of nuclear energy. As we continue to grow and expand our presence on major projects such as Hinkley Point C, we are looking for a Project Controls Engineer to join our team in Bristol.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a business at the forefront of complex engineering projects, where your work will directly contribute to delivering critical infrastructure safely, on time, and within budget.

You will join a collaborative Project Controls team, supporting the Programme Manager across a diverse portfolio of projects, with a strong focus on planning, performance monitoring, and project delivery excellence.

What we’re looking for

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering or technical discipline
• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a Project Controls Engineer or similar role
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query / Power BI advantageous)
• Experience working with planning, cost control, and reporting processes
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn and develop
• Experience within an engineering or technical environment, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated industries
• Be part of a flagship UK nuclear project
• Work on complex, high-impact engineering programmes
