Job summary

Boccard in Bristol is seeking an accomplished Project Manager to lead high-value UK nuclear and engineering projects, owning delivery from concept through to completion and coordinating multidisciplinary teams, clients, suppliers and stakeholders to meet requirements, budgets and safety standards.

Based in a city-centre office, you will travel to project sites such as Deeside, Hinkley Point C and other supplier locations, with emphasis on governance, risk management and on-time, on-budget

Qualifications

Job description

As Boccard continues to support some of the UK's most significant nuclear and engineering programmes, we are seeking an accomplished Project Manager to join our Bristol-based team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of complex, high-value projects within the UK Nuclear New Build sector, leading multidisciplinary teams and working closely with clients, suppliers and stakeholders to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Based in our Bristol city centre office, you will play a key role in managing projects from initial concept through to successful completion, ensuring customer requirements, contractual obligations and business objectives are achieved throughout the project lifecycle.

The role will involve regular travel to key project locations, including our state-of-the-art digital manufacturing facility in Deeside, North Wales, Hinkley Point C, and supplier sites across the UK.

We are particularly interested in candidates with Project Management experience gained within the nuclear sector, energy industry, or other highly regulated engineering and manufacturing environments.

A technical or engineering background would be highly advantageous, enabling you to confidently engage with multidisciplinary teams and clients whilst managing the commercial, operational and technical aspects of project delivery.

Whether degree-qualified or possessing equivalent industry experience, you will be an exceptional communicator, relationship-builder and problem-solver, with the ability to successfully drive complex projects from inception through to completion.
