Job summary

Boccard UK is recruiting for a Project Controls Engineer to join our team in Bristol. This permanent role supports the Programme Manager across a diverse portfolio, with a strong focus on planning, performance monitoring and delivery of complex engineering programmes for the UK nuclear sector.

You will work within a collaborative Project Controls group, employing robust cost control, scheduling, and reporting processes to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery on flagship projects such as

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering or technical discipline (required).
• Typically 4+ years in a Project Controls Engineer or similar role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power Query/Power BI advantageous.
• Experience with planning, cost control and reporting processes.
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Support the Programme Manager across a diverse portfolio of projects with strong focus on planning, performance monitoring and delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Join a collaborative Project Controls team to drive scheduling and cost control across programmes.
• Contribute to robust reporting and performance analysis to support decision-making.
