Job summary

Boccard UK is recruiting a Project Controls Engineer for a permanent role based in Bristol. The role requires an engineering degree and 4+ years in project controls, with advanced Excel skills and familiarity with planning, cost control, and reporting processes.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering or technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years in a Project Controls Engineer or similar role.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query / Power BI advantageous).
• Experience working with planning, cost control, and reporting processes.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities.
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn and develop.

Responsibilities

• Support the Programme Manager across a diverse portfolio of projects.
• Contribute to planning, performance monitoring and project delivery excellence.
• Collaborate with the project controls team to track milestones and budgets.
• Assist with reporting processes and timely data provision.
