Job summary

Boccard UK is recruiting a Project Controls Engineer to join our Bristol team on a major nuclear infrastructure programme. You will work closely with the Programme Manager across a diverse portfolio, focusing on planning, performance monitoring, and delivery excellence.

The successful candidate will have a engineering degree, 4+ years in project controls, strong analytical skills, and proficient Excel (Power Query / Power BI a bonus).

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering or technical discipline.
• Typically 4+ years in a Project Controls Engineer or similar.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; Power Query / Power BI advantageous.
• Experience with planning, cost control and reporting processes.

What we're looking for

• Degree-qualified in an Engineering or technical discipline
• Proven experience (typically 4+ years) in a Project Controls Engineer or similar role
• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with a high level of attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Power Query / Power BI advantageous)
• Experience working with planning, cost control, and reporting processes
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
• Curious mindset and willingness to learn and develop

Desirable

• Experience within an engineering or technical environment, ideally within nuclear or other highly regulated industries
