Project Civil Engineerwith 3+ years’ experience

SD Engineers is seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and personable Civil Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team within our central London location.

About the role

The role requires someone who is self-motivated, embraces responsibility, and possesses strong technical design skills and has a good understanding of construction.

You should be highly personable, enjoy working in a team environment and possess strong analytical and software skills to deliver high quality engineering on a wide range of projects, varying from small refurbishments and extensions to large complex development projects.

Key skills and requirements:

The successful candidate must hold an ICE accredited degree in civil engineering, and ideally be driven towards achieving chartership status with ICE.

Exceptional communication skills are a requirement for this role as we collaborate with numerous stakeholders and design disciplines on all projects. Being a reliable and highly organised team player is an essential part of this role to ensure we meet strict deadlines.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering some of the following:

• Below ground drainage design including SuDS
• Retrofitting existing networks and sitewide design
• Drainage Statements and FRA
• Design of private roads to adoptable standards
• Vehicle tracking
• Liaison with local authorities to obtain agreements for drainage and highways
• AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow

Salary

£38,000 – £44,000, depending on experience
