Job Description
  • Job Title: Support Assistant
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Salary: £24,627 per annum, plus £4,000 London Allowance
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full time
  • Working Pattern: Shift pattern: early shift, middle shifts and late shifts
  • Location: Queen Mary Hostel, Westminster

The difference you will make as a Support Assistant

You will be key in the day-to-day running of supported housing services, focusing on safety and wellbeing without providing personal care. Your role includes supporting customers with communication with external agencies, logging incidents, and preparing rooms for new occupants.

  • Experience working with people in a customer-facing environment
  • Understanding supporting vulnerable individuals, possibly with lived experience of homelessness or addiction
