Job summary

Planning Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Project Architect for a Cotswolds studio, focusing on high-end residential, hospitality and heritage schemes across the UK and internationally.

Be responsible for taking concepts to construction, coordinating diverse teams and maintaining design-led quality. The role offers exposure to luxury projects and potential for advancement within a creative studio.

Qualifications

• ARB registered Architect, or eligible for prompt UK registration.
• 2+ years post-Part 3 experience or equivalent.
• Strong UK project experience, especially RIBA Stages 4–6.
• Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, heritage or landscape-led architecture.
• Strong design ability with excellent technical and construction knowledge.
• Ability to coordinate consultants, contractors, and specialist teams.
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, detailing, procurement and contract administration.
• Proficient in Revit and AutoCAD; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, and Enscape.
• Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of projects from concept through technical design and construction.

Project Architect – High-End Residential & Hospitality

Cotswolds | High-End Residential | Hospitality | Heritage

My client is looking for an experienced Project Architect to join their Cotswolds studio, working on an exceptional portfolio of high-end residential, hospitality and heritage projects across the UK and internationally.

Current projects range from unique UK commissions to luxury residential and hospitality schemes across Italy and Africa, offering the opportunity to work on beautifully detailed, design-led architecture from concept through to completion.

Requirements

• ARB registered Architect, or eligible for prompt UK registration

• Ideally 2+ years’ post-Part 3 experience

• Strong UK project experience, particularly across RIBA Stages 4–6

• Experience within high-end residential, hospitality, heritage or landscape-led architecture highly desirable

• Strong design ability combined with excellent technical and construction knowledge

• Confident coordinating consultants, contractors, craftspeople and specialist teams

• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, detailing, procurement and contract administration

• Strong Revit and AutoCAD skills

• Adobe Creative Suite proficiency; Rhino and Enscape advantageous

• Excellent client-facing and communication skills

• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally when required
