Job summary

Planning Recruitment Limited is seeking an Architect or Project Architect for a high-end residential and heritage studio in London. The role suits recently qualified architects with a passion for design-led projects and experience working on listed buildings and sensitive environments.

You will join a design-focused practice delivering refurbishment, retrofit and new-build schemes, collaborating with clients, consultants and in-house teams to realise high-quality architecture.

Qualifications

• ARB registered Architect with 1–5 years post-Part 3 experience.
• Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Experience in a design-led architectural practice.
• Broad exposure to design, technical and delivery stages.
• Experience with listed buildings, retrofit and high-end residential.
• Hospitability and commercial experience is advantageous.
• Excellent design, detailing and communication skills.
• Vectorworks experience is advantageous.
• Confident working with clients, consultants and teams.

Architect / Project Architect – High-End Residential & Heritage

My client is an established, design-led architectural practice looking for a recently qualified Architect / Project Architect to join their team.

The practice works on a beautiful portfolio of high-end residential, listed, heritage, retrofit, hospitality and commercial projects, with many schemes involving historically significant buildings and sensitive settings.

Current projects include the refurbishment and extension of a Grade II listed hotel, the renovation of a prominent City of London office, a new luxury apartment development in Kensington and the remodelling of a Grade I listed building.

What They’re Looking For

• ARB registered Architect, ideally with 1–5 years’ post-Part 3 experience
• Degree in Architecture or equivalent
• Experience within a design-led architectural practice
• Strong all-round experience across design, technical and delivery stages
• Experience with listed buildings, retrofit and high-end residential projects
• Hospitality and commercial experience would also be advantageous
• Excellent design, detailing and communication skills
• Vectorworks experience advantageous but not essential
• Confident working with clients, consultants and wider project teams
