Bennett And Game Recruitment is seeking a Project Architect for a Cheshire-based specialist architectural consultancy. You will manage bespoke residential projects from client engagement through planning, Building Regulations and construction to completion, liaising with private clients, contractors and stakeholders.

• Strong background in residential architecture within a small/medium practice.

Responsibilities

• Manage bespoke residential projects from initial client engagement through to completion.

Position: Project ArchitectLocation: Holmes Chapel, CheshireSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 (dependent on experience)Working Arrangement: Office Based Initially / Hybrid Once EstablishedEmployment Type: PermanentA Project Architect is required to join a specialist architectural and property consultancy based in Holmes Chapel. The practice delivers bespoke residential projects across the UK, creating high-quality homes and adaptations tailored around the individual requirements of private clients. Working within a close-knit team of approximately 16 people, the successful candidate will gain significantly more project ownership than is typically available within a larger architectural practice.This is a particularly varied role where you will have the opportunity to manage residential projects from initial client contact and survey through planning, Building Regulations and construction to completion. You will work directly with private clients, contractors and other professional stakeholders, taking genuine responsibility for project delivery while receiving support from an experienced Head of Department.

Project Architect Salary & Benefits

• Salary £40,000 - £45,000 depending on experience.

Project Architect Job Overview

Project Architect Job Requirements

• Strong background within residential architecture, ideally within a small or medium-sized practice or consultancy.
• Planning and Building Regulations experience is essential.
• Proven experience taking residential projects beyond the technical stages and through construction.
• Experience dealing directly with private residential clients.
• Strong understanding of residential construction and technical detailing.
• Comfortable liaising directly with contractors and resolving issues on site.
• Contract Administration experience would be highly advantageous.
• Experience with valuations or wider project management duties would be beneficial but isn't essential.
• Excellent communication skills with a personable and consultative approach.
• Adaptable and comfortable dealing with clients and professional stakeholders at different levels.
• Willing to travel to projects throughout the UK.
