Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join a well-established Cardiff practice. You will lead the delivery of projects from concept through to completion, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and build strong client relationships.

The role offers flexibility with core hours, exposure to diverse sectors, and opportunities for career progression while maintaining ARB registration and compliance with UK regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be ARB registered and an accredited Architect.
• Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages.
• Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures.
• Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience leading projects from concept to completion.

Responsibilities

• Leading and managing the delivery of projects across a range of RIBA stages.
• Developing architectural designs from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Producing, coordinating and reviewing high-quality architectural and technical information.
• Leading the preparation of detailed drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Coordinating planning applications and Building Regulations.
• Managing coordination with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Attending and contributing to client, consultant and project meetings.
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring project progress, timelines, and quality standards.
• Supporting growth and development of the practice.

Salary: GBP40:45,000
A well:established architectural practice based in Cardiff is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and ambitious Architect looking to take on greater responsibility and play a key role in the successful delivery of projects. You will have the opportunity to build strong client relationships, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and take projects from initial concept through to completion.
The practice works across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, food retail, leisure, industrial and veterinary projects, offering excellent variety and exposure to projects across multiple RIBA stages.

Requirements

• Qualified Architect with ARB registration
• Previous experience working within a UK architectural practice
• Proven experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and planning procedures
• Strong Revit skills
• Sound technical knowledge, including construction detailing and specification
• Strong design ability with a keen eye for quality and detail
• Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, workloads and project deadlines
• Comfortable working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the successful technical delivery and completion of projects to a high standard
• Contributing to the continued growth and development of the practice
• Providing guidance and support to junior members of the team where appropriate
