Job Description

Project Architect job available in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, joining a leading architecture, engineering, and construction company with a global presence. They are currently seeking passionate architects to work on a new project in their defence sector. This role is primarily remote; however, candidates must be based within a 50-mile radius of Peterborough for site visits. The company has 14 offices worldwide and is renowned for its sustainable approach to projects.

This role offers the opportunity to work fully remotely, with occasional travel to the site as needed.

Role & Responsibilities

1. Develop architectural designs ensuring solutions meet quality standards, project timelines, and budgets.
2. Conduct site surveys and field reviews, adhering to applicable codes; prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards.
3. Visit sites to verify compliance with construction documents; identify deviations and coordinate with owners and contractors to resolve issues.
4. Support team members effectively and collaborate within the team.
5. Report project progress and updates to directors.

Required Skills & Experience

1. Proven experience in developing architectural designs that meet quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
2. Experience conducting site surveys and field reviews in compliance with codes.
3. Ability to prepare design reports, drawings, and models according to office standards.
4. Experience in site visits for compliance verification and liaising with stakeholders.
5. Strong team collaboration skills.
6. Ability to report on project status effectively.
