Project Architect Job in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire

Project Architect job available at a leading architecture, engineering, and construction company with a global presence. They are currently seeking passionate architects to work on a new project in their defence sector. This is a remote role; however, you MUST be based in the Peterborough area for site visits.

The company has 14 offices worldwide and a diverse portfolio. They are renowned for their sustainable approach to projects. This role offers the opportunity to work fully remotely, with travel to the site when needed. Candidates should live within a 50-mile radius of Peterborough.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop architectural designs to ensure solutions meet quality standards, project timelines, and budgets.
• Conduct site surveys and field reviews, adhering to applicable code requirements.
• Prepare design reports, drawings, and models following office standards.
• Perform site visits to verify compliance with construction documents; identify deviations and liaise with owners and contractors to resolve issues.
• Collaborate effectively within a team by supporting other members.
• Report progress and updates to directors on current projects.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in developing architectural designs meeting quality, timeline, and budget requirements.
• Experience conducting site surveys and ensuring compliance with codes.
• Ability to prepare detailed reports, drawings, and models.
• Experience with site visits and liaising with clients and contractors.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate project progress effectively to senior management.
