Job summary

Partou UK Limited is seeking a Project Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Denton (M34). You will handle complex supplier invoices, perform reconciliations, and ensure VAT compliance while supporting intercompany activity.

The role requires solid experience in AP within a medium/large organisation, proficiency with major accounting systems, and a focus on accuracy, timelines, and fraud prevention. This is an on-site position at our Denton office.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Payable role within a medium or large organisation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AP, purchase-to-pay, and VAT requirements.
• High accuracy and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex supplier reconciliations and clear unmatched transactions.
• Process high-value invoices, intercompany transactions, and credit notes.
• Build relationships with suppliers and collaborate with Procurement, Finance, HR and Operations to resolve discrepancies.
• Ensure supplier onboarding and bank detail verification to prevent fraud.
