Job summary

Partou UK is seeking a Project Accounts Payable Specialist for a 6-month fixed-term contract in Denton (M34). You will ensure accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices, manage complex reconciliations, and support the AP team with end-to-end processes and VAT compliance.

The role requires experience in AP within a medium/large organisation, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with multiple accounting systems. Salary up to £35,000 p.a. DOE, on-site in Denton.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable within a medium or large organisation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end AP processes, VAT requirements.
• High accuracy and attention to detail with deadlines.
• Proficiency with accounting systems (SunSystems, Sage, Xero, NetSuite, SAP) and Excel.
• Experience in a multi-site, service-based organisation.
• AAT qualification or equivalent finance training.
• Preferably minimum 3 years' AP experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex supplier reconciliations and clear unmatched creditor transactions.
• Process complex/high-value invoices, intercompany transactions, and credit notes.
